Megan Morris

Office Manager/ Receptionist/Veterinary Assistant

Megan came to the clinic after chatting with Dr. Blaney about wanting a change in careers. She started on Reception and after a few months realized she loved the environment and was soon promoted to Office Manager. However, she is considered to be a jack of all trades, as she runs the day to day activities of the hospital, while also doing reception, assisting veterinarians and being an animal nutrition expert.

Megan has a 9-year old son named Trey, when she is not working can be seen at one of his activities (baseball, basketball and football). She loves to travel, exploring different cultures and going out to eat with friends and trying what all the local restaurants have to offer.

She and her son share their home with two indoor kitties, Bell and Tyson that regularly try to make a break for the great outdoors. Bell is a 13-year old shy cat while Tyson is full of personality and will take any kind of attention you can give him. They also have a 1-year old mini Australian Shepherd named Ryder, who is full of energy and will do just about anything for a treat. He loves people, going for runs and will play fetch until you can’t throw the ball anymore.

Megan prides herself on remembering our clients and their pets! She has been at Atlantic Veterinary Hospital for just about 8 years and loves coming to work every day. Megan is also a nutritional advisor for your pet, after having taken several online veterinary nutrition courses as well as touring the Royal Canin facility. She looks forward to seeing you soon!

When asked if she would be a dog or cat and what breed, Megan said “If I were a dog I would be a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. I feel like with that fancy of name, they must be primped and pampered their entire lives, who wouldn’t love that life?
