Registered Veterinary Technician
Angela grew up in Saint John and as a child, she always had dogs and cats. She developed a love for animals and in high school began volunteering at a vet clinic. After attending UNBSJ for four years, she enrolled in Oulton College and graduated as a veterinary technician, so she could follow her passion for animals.
While away studying at Oulton College Angela fostered 3 kittens who were found outside who were very young and sick. She decided to add one of the kittens to her family and now has two orange cats named Franklin and Crosby. Crosby is an 8-year old orange, his personality can be described as Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde. Frankie is 3-years old and would the words to describe him best is food loving purr machine. Angela also has a 1-year old Dutch Tulip Hound mix named Nicte, who is a little spoon cuddler.
During the summer months, Angela spends her time playing softball, something she has done since she was a child. When she is not busy on the field she loves going camping and playing washer toss.
At the clinic, Angela has many responsibilities to ensure surgeries run smoothly. She does x-rays and blood work but dentals are her favorite. Angela’s skills and passion for animals make her an asset to our team.
When asked if she would be a dog or cat and what breed, Angela said “If I were a cat, I would be a Maine Coon. They’re big and beautiful, independent yet still get to lay in the sun all day.”
